Should I hide waste in the price?
No. Waste is its own line on the estimate. Customers accept 10% waste when they can see it, and it protects you when the layout changes.
What if the customer supplies the material?
Fine with a handling clause: you are not responsible for material defects, lot mismatch, or shortages, and shortage trips bill at your service rate. The template includes the language.
