Everything a field team needs

Crews with named leads

Create crews with a designated lead technician. Assign any job to an individual or an entire crew. Every member's schedule syncs instantly.

Smart job assignment

Drag jobs to the right crew from the dispatch board. The system shows availability gaps before you overbook anyone.

Live crew map

See every crew's real-time location on one map. Know who is on-site, in transit, or running behind without making a call.

Mobile crew view

Each tech gets a mobile-optimized today view showing jobs, addresses, notes, and check-in buttons — offline-capable when signal drops.

Route your crew. Track them live.

One click sequences each tech's day for minimum drive time. Dispatchers watch the live map while the crew follows turn-by-turn directions. Payroll and mileage logs write themselves.

Common questions.

How do I create a crew?
Go to Settings > Crews in Roooster. Name the crew, add members from your team list, and designate a lead technician. Any job assigned to the crew automatically creates individual assignments for each member.
Can a tech be in multiple crews?
Yes. A technician can be a member of more than one crew. Their personal schedule view shows jobs from all crews they belong to, and their route optimizer sequences across all of them.
How does crew assignment affect dispatching?
When you assign a job to a crew, the lead tech becomes the lane owner on the dispatch board. All crew members see the job on their mobile today view, and route optimization runs per individual tech.
Does the crew view work offline?
Yes. The /me/today tech view is a PWA that caches the day's jobs and works without a connection for check-ins, notes, and photo uploads. Changes sync automatically when signal returns.
